Your responsibilities
- You lead and manage the R&D Incubation Team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration with (independent) Global Incubation Consultants.
- You coordinate in-house lab tests, field trials with pilot customers and scientific research activities at partner universities and institutes.
- You maintain a clear overview of all ongoing incubation projects, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
- You serve as the link between technical development and business needs, translating early-stage findings into actionable projects.
- You stay open to new technologies and ideas while keeping a strong focus on end-user value and product feasibility.
- You ensure high standards in project documentation, reporting and evaluation.
Your profile
- You have a master's degree in civil engineering, preferably with a specialization in bioengineering, electromechanics, control technology or a related field.
- You have proven experience in people management and team leadership.
- You are analytical and pragmatic, with a no-nonsense and hands-on mentality.
- You are eager to dive into biological systems and processes, even beyond your core engineering background.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You have a strategic mindset, keeping the end goal in focus while embracing innovation.
- You are willing to travel (10-20%).
