Your responsibilities
- You will be responsible for preventive maintenance of production equipment:
- You will monitor the maintenance schedule together with the operators
- You will make adjustments where necessary
- You will also carry out part of the preventive maintenance yourself
- You will be involved in improvement and investment projects
- During machine downtime, you will help to resolve the fault as quickly as possible
- You will be responsible for detecting and resolving mechanical faults in the various installations
- You will detect faults and rectify mechanical faults in technical installations and components (motors, chains, valves, pumps, bearings and so on)
- You will dismantle, overhaul and assemble various components
- Besides these duties, you will mainly be responsible for preventive maintenance to limit future failures
- You will monitor the quality of the machinery
- You can work in accordance with a technical plan or schedule
Your profile
- Technical background through education or experience.
- Mechanically inclined; knowledge of electricity is an asset.
- Knowledge of turning, milling or welding is also useful.
- Daytime work; if desired it is possible to switch to shift work later on.
- Conceptual thinking and technical insight are essential.
- You are passionate about preventive maintenance.
- You have problem-solving skills.
- You are resistant to stress and have a high level of perseverance.
- You can work independently, you are flexible and communicative and you care about safety and hygiene.
- You have a positive attitude.
- You are not afraid to get your hands dirty with hands-on mechanical work.
