Your responsibilities
- You will create item files and routings based on Bills of Materials (BOMs). You will start up, close and maintain production orders. Your goal? Efficient inventory management with minimal stock and no stock shortages, allowing us to consistently achieve On Time In Full deliveries to our customers.
- You will develop and implement systems to improve inventory accuracy, for example by organizing cycle counts.
- You will determine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyse the results and make adjustments where necessary to guarantee optimal performance.
- You will ensure flexible planning that perfectly matches customers' needs and complies with the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- You will be responsible for planning the raw materials and production and for the final call-off.
- You will play a key role in setting up and following up on permanent and/or temporary subcontracting.
- You will build bridges within the production department (hands-on, to the shop floor) and across departments.
- You will continuously strive for improvement, for example by initiating projects aimed at reducing lead times, while remaining cost-conscious and optimizing the capacity of the workforce and machines.
- You will also act as a change agent in the implementation and roll-out of the ERP package.
Your profile
- You have a master's degree or equivalent experience, and you preferably have at least three years of experience in a similar position in a production environment.
- You have a thorough knowledge of planning processes and understand their impact on the entire logistics flow.
- You are eager to learn and willing to continuously develop your expertise, for example through networking and external benchmarking. In addition, you actively transfer this knowledge within the organization by sharing best practices and drawing up and optimizing procedures.
- You are characterized by personal qualities such as accuracy, a results-oriented approach, customer focus and a positive attitude. You are a real team player with strong people skills.
- You have excellent computer skills, and knowledge of Axapta is considered an asset.
- Finally, you are fluent in both Dutch and English.
